What is your PASSION in life?
 

I've been doing a lot of thinking about this lately. I'm *content* with life. I've got a good job, making good money, going to law school, and have great friends. However as of late I've just felt like there's been somthing missing in life. I've come to realize that there's nothing I'm truely passionate about in life, nothing that drives me each and every day. Although I'm happy with life, sometimes you can't help but think that you're just going through the motions.

Ok, enough of my ranting, just needed to blurt that out.

My son is my passion. He is just over a year old, and with anything and everything that he does, I want to do more for him.

I have TWO passions:

1.) My husband and my 4 kids are my passion, they are why I get up in the morning and why I can sleep at night. They challenge me in ways and on levels I never dreamed were possible and they bring out emotions in me that I never knew even existed. I live for a challenge and they give this to me each and every single day..... even the lows are worth it because they make the highs that much b etter.

2.) My job, yes I said my job, without that, I wouldn't have the means to take care of my first passion, so this has to come in there. I have been thru a lot in my world with jobs, but they have all put me where I am in my job now and I wouldn't change that for anything. I love my job, I love the people I work with and for and I love that I am afforded the opportunity for a new challenge daily, and that I can work from my home and take care of my kids the way *I* want them taken care of. PLUS my job is my sanity from the rest of the world, I keep my head occupied with all of the new challenges it brings.

THOSE are my passions and what drives me from one day and one challenge to the next.

Aside from the wife and kids - photography is my passion these days. To me, an ideal day is getting 300+ shots in a huge industrial abandonment.

"Donation not duration" is something I try to live by...giving back is most importatnt because for one you can't take anything with you in the end and second there is no better reward then to know someone is actually gaining from what you shared with them :)

I would have to say that my fiancee was my passion. However since that's now gone i'm just left feeling a bit jaded about life I suppose.

You shouldn't feel that way...be glad that you didn't spend more time with her than you already did! Take the expierence as a leson and move forward, you can't turn back is the line I live by.

Martial arts used to be my passion, still is probably but since I injured myself I can't do it like I was before. Before I was preparing for the 2008 olympics prolly would have made it too, but now I'm damned.

Reminds me of this kid from china he was like the best, fastest and number one in the world at like 16, but then he broke his left arm and after it healed he couldn't punch or do certain things nearly as fast or powerful anymore so they had to kick him out of the school and tell him to get a new profession. Poor kid.

hiphop/rap is a true passion of me... each and every day im listening to albums i never heard of before, discovering more and more shit i like... i probably play about 6 to 10 hours of hiphop albums daily when i sit behind the pc...

used to produce & do some rapping myself a few yrs ago but havent got the time for that anymore..

enjoying the good things in live. Of course money is great(and needed) But I prefer to have a great weekend sailing with family/friends rather then making some extra cash for some useless toy...

Well I love to surf (real surfing not internet) and I love to run but there is one passion that has always resonated deep within my being. All day every day, I can never shake it. It dictates my every move and has accompanied and driven me in and out of some of the best and worst times of my life. Although, it makes me strive to be stong and to be better than the best I think I can be, it also has the potential to bring me to my knees. That's right...
