Nah, you played pretty good. You just lacked a real striker in the box. Can't even imagine what Van Nistelrooy did to piss Van Basten off enough to keep him out of the team...

Yeah we needed a real striker. Oh well, over 2 years we will see what we can do at the EuroCup...And he didn't do anything. He didn't perform well in the eyes of Van Basten in the last 2 games...

But apparently Kuyt did? Well, too bad anyway, I would've loved to see Holland advance to the next round.

Not with this kind of performance. Holland should go back to their old kind of football - beautiful, even if it doesn't get them far.

Kuyt was ok.. but the time wasted in the second half was not six minutes. It was thirty minutes. Fourteen yellow cards and four red? Pardon my fucked up french, but what the fuck?

It was the worst game of the world cup this far, didn't enjoy watching it. Red & Yellow cards where giving out at every fault made, no friendly play at all from both sides. Sure you won, congratulations to you. Wish you many luck in the next rounds. But it's weak to say it only came from one side, Holland.

fucking hell im not a fan of van nisterooy, hes always offside and the game is stop start stop start, but fuck me compared to kuyt, hes fucking theiry henry, schvenshenko and rooney all put together.

Well quality wise maybe. But I'm sure for the independant viewer it was a very exciting match, which was at least NOT boring....

Kuyt is a great player, and played a good match. Unfortunately the team wasnt lucky at all and Portugal played better (they did at least in the first half).

IMHO alot of Holland's game played at the left side and was easy to defend by Portugal. Van Persie was the best man at Holland side but didnt get much oportunities.

Apart from that, the referee was shit and doesnt deserve to lead a WC match again. I know the match wasnt friendly but 18 yellow cards is stupid!

Yeah it was very exciting to watch. Wanted it to last atleast 30 more minutes...
