survived the first 72 hours of not smoking!!
well everybody, I've been informed that when you try to quit smoking the first three days are the toughest, so I can proudly say it's now been 72 hours and counting and I haven't felt this good in quite some time!! Seems for the past few years I'd go one step forward and like 10-20 steps back, couldn't gain ground for the life of me!! Now, I feel that by quitting smoking I've jumped like 50+ steps forward and the sky is the limit!!
thanks for all the support, hope you all have a great day!! |
congrats man :thumbsup
one day I will quit... one day...:Oh crap |
for me the 1st day was the hardest , after that it was all smooth sailing
sure the second day i did have the thoughts , but just keeping the mind occupied got over that , but then again i also had a cold so slept alot which i guess helped |

Congrats on quiting, the first week was hell for me and everytime after that I wanted a smoke I thought if I have a smoke I just put myself through a week of hell for nothing... I kept at it and it will be 6 weeks for me on Tuesday :)

There are more fun times on the way..

Congrats man, this will be one of the best decisions that you've ever made without a doubt!
Luckily I never took up smoking, but my partner use to. One of the first things he did when we met was quit, and although it was hard for him at first, he's been smoke-free for almost 8 years now. Best of luck and hang in there! :thumbsup |
