survived the first 72 hours of not smoking!!

well everybody, I've been informed that when you try to quit smoking the first three days are the toughest, so I can proudly say it's now been 72 hours and counting and I haven't felt this good in quite some time!! Seems for the past few years I'd go one step forward and like 10-20 steps back, couldn't gain ground for the life of me!! Now, I feel that by quitting smoking I've jumped like 50+ steps forward and the sky is the limit!!

thanks for all the support, hope you all have a great day!!

There are more fun times on the way..

Morning Coffee with nothing to hold on.
Drinking at the bar when someone is blowing smoke in your face and you're shitfaced.
Getting totally angry and seeing an ashtray..

snorting a li...... someone is snoopping this post... go wifi.. bzzt

Tdog 06-25-2006 12:55 PM

congrats, quiting a habit like that is very difficult.

BoyAlley 06-25-2006 12:57 PM

Congrats man, this will be one of the best decisions that you've ever made without a doubt!

Luckily I never took up smoking, but my partner use to. One of the first things he did when we met was quit, and although it was hard for him at first, he's been smoke-free for almost 8 years now.

Best of luck and hang in there! :thumbsup
