What are the best sizes for TGP thumbs?
 

Which thumb size should I go with for a TGP ?

u can go for,
110 x 150 - standard
165 x 225 - large

or whatever you want.

Are these standard sizes ?

I'm having a good conversions when i changed up from 140x140 to 100x150 (almost standard size)

bigger the better dude.

180x135 is nice

there are about 20 standart sizes. choose any of them. but the bigger is POSSIBLY better for you
200x200
90x120
100x150
88x88
185x135
etc
etc

That is contrary to what another webmaster just posted. Have you tried different sizes ?

88x88 gets none anymore. Think about it man. Lots of guys are jacking off while clicking through thumb previews. What would you rather jack off to? Little tiny squares that you can barely fucking see or make out? Or nice big crystal clear sex images?

the thumbs at lil tgp are 45x60 and weight @ 900 bytes,

and they look like shit too! :)

I like it.. i love the idea. I would change 2 things... Space the thumbnails out a bit (like 3 pixel padding around the images) and have it update once a day.

yes, but the fact of the matter is... not all of them do. Many of them just click through each gallery with their dick in one hand and the mouse in the other. Sorry to say but jacking off has adapted. More and more dudes get all they need from TGPs. Doesn't mean that you can't benefit from their clicks though, and bigger thumbs get more clicks.

i honestly cant say that it doesnt convert.

i will also say that there isnt much traffic going thru it right now, just the odd click out from my other tgps.

it has no trades, no skim, its just a lil tgp :)

once it starts getting its own traffic, i will let you know about the conversions.

i have heard a lot of positive feedback about it tho, and i really enjoy that.

doesnt look too bad at 640x480 either.

What if.. (this hasn't been done before that i know of) a TGP that has 88x88 thumbnails. But the thumbs and niched. i.e. Big tit TGP the 88x88 are all pictures of tits. No faces, no legs, just tits. Ect ect for any niche feet, big dicks, ect. You telling me prod would still be lower then a big 200x200 thumbnail that shows bs and slows the page load time?

Its not the size but what you do with it

sounds interesting to me though can be a pain in the ass. submitters wont do that for you only - u'll have to create thumbs yourself only.

This works needs to be done by TGP owner anyway, if the TGP should look good.

I'm going to use 88x88, 100x150 and 100x100 on thumb sites I'm developing.. I've seen some peoples traffic stats on those big thumb sites and although there's alot traffic going out, I'm not seeing anywhere near the type of productivity (on the receiving site) that I see on my text sites so I'm somewhat skeptical.
