Fucking annoying hardware USB problem [help pls]
So all of a sudden my pc doesnt recognize my external drive anymore, some fucked up I/O error.
When I connect it through the usb hub on my TFT or laptop it works fine. No funky stuff in system either. Any :2 cents: ? Bedankt :) |

2hpIf the laptop has USB2, maybe it's seduced the drive into rejecting the previously successful amorous advances of the old desktop -- :) -- maybe. |
got any other usb devices to test on your pc ?
the bus might be fried |

Mine does that sometimes, but unplugging it and plugging it back in fixes it for me...

Try removing the USB in Device Manager, then re-installing USB.
