How do you tell if your dog is drunk?
 

My flatmate put his can of hard cider on the coffee table and walked away for a minute. I hear a noise and look over and one of my puppies has stood up on her legs to try to reach the can and knocked it over. I ran to get a towel and when I got back both of the puppies were sucking up the booze from the carpet. I had to get the spillage that was near a laptop first so I couldn't go straight to the carpet.

They are rather energetic at the moment but they can get that way anyway on a hot day when the sun finally goes in and cools things off.

I've never had to watch for a drunk dog before..how do you tell?

no joke...they do it when they are drunk

When you scare them, and they shit uncontrollably.... know this from experience.

Also when they go down a hallway and bounce off the walls.

Second that. I had a dog that would do that very thing after drinking some beer.

I have a five month old spaniel puppy. She does that anyway.

Sleep, my dog tends to sleep in places, and in positions she normally wouldn't.

lol no idea. Our little guy hasn't had alcohol.

They start sneezing. A mates dog drinks beer from the glass and then has a sneezing attack, its funny as hell... :)

only a few signs of hangovers this morning

they walk sideways. It happened to a puppy in my house when I was a little girl. He was sick with something and my grandma was told to give him liquour as a remedy. Well, the puppy got very drunk, and it was hysterical to watch him.

That could be from the bubbles. When I was a kid I would feed our cocker spaniel pop, and she would sneeze and sneeze from the carbonation.

One thing about Cuervo, He'll only get drunk on that shit once. The hangover hurts so bad.

I think they just sleep. Make sure they've got plenty of water when they wake. They can de-hydrate.
