how many of you have written your internet resume'
 

i was shocked and suprised when i actually wrote mine on how many skills and things that i have learned and can do now after just a little over 5 years in the biz.

Most people only think of their resume at job search time. Then they face the difficult task of having to review months (or even years) of activity, to recall the *highlights* and prepare a picture of their work experience that will be attractive to prospective employers. I stopped doing that back in '99, when I first began to consult, while still having a full-time salaried position. My approach, then, to resume updating became about recording *projects*, rather than about memorializing stints of time spent with specific companies. I really recommend this approach, and that you make additions to your resume right after you have done something cool. It will be freshest in your mind. And you will describe it with a confident voice.

I don't see the need for a porn webmaster that want to keep a low profile and do not do consulting for others to have a resume!

I am one of those who will not do it unless I am really looking for a job.
