When posting a large pic the board will resize it smaller with html and link to the full size pic opening it in a new browser window.

I think that's a good idea.

However the new window needs to have scroll bars. :2 cents:

Otherwise if the pic is longer or wider than the viewers screen resolution the pic is not fully visible and there is no way to scroll.

It's not that difficult dude. just left click anywhere on the white area of the page (except the very top),, hold the mouse button down,, and pull your mouse down or up.

YES in IE. Did you maximize the page? Im doing it rite now. if you want Ill upload a video tutorial on how to do it. Make sure you push the cursor all the way to the top or bottom.

Then fix your Internet explorer. It works on any computer I have regardless of IE version.

Wanting to know what your sites look like in IE is 1 thing, but it doesn't explain why anyone (webmaster) would want to use IE for the rest of his/her daily browsing.

dunno why anyone is really arguing about this, it's right in the script to pop the window... "scrollbars=no"... so chances are, some people ain't gonna get them...

perhaps it's because some webmasters have an IQ over 48, and aren't just there clicking every goddamn thing that pops up and says 'hey idiot, click here", or installing all kinds of warez they got off of p2p programs.

sure, but the click and drag thing sucks.

no scrollbars makes the page up/down buttons non-functional, as well as the scroll wheel on the mouse.

still doesn't explain why a webmaster would want to use a browser with an inferior rendering engine, a browser that uses more resources, a browsers that's more difficult to customize, a browser with a lot less functionality/features,...

The right thing to do here is allow the scroll bars. What's the big deal?

It didn't work for me... until , I maximized, clicked on the white part and held it down while dragging to BELOW the picture, then it moved. but if you click on the white and don't drag to below the pic, it won't move.

I probably won't be fixing that, since it was something I came up with specifically for vB 3.5.x.

vB 3.6 should be at full release in about 30-days, and it has it's own image resize feature built in, along with the automatic sig killer function. :thumbsup

Why not use firefox and test everything ou with IE ? firefox is a far better browser

Because it sucks... every computer I've installed FF on it eventually screws up and starts crashing.

On the other hand I never have any issues in IE.

Maybe, sometimes I could use a second shooter for my Sony VX :thumbsup
