Yes, its not really a secret. The bank is obligated to include details of payment and with higher amounts its about keeping currency in/out stats.

I dont mind the fact that they are looking at transactions but I do worry about the LENGTH of time, I mean sheesh the banks profit enough off of our money by holding it extra days.

I have received maybe two wires my entire life. No big deal for me. I'm sure they are doing much worse that we don't know about.

what do you expect from US government? :D

ALL US funds from banks are FDIC insured "fdic dot gov" This gives them the right to insure your money and to look at ALL records.

Nope... Just terrorism... The warrant doesn't cover any other use and if they tried to use it for money laundering and it got out, they'd have to stop because of lawsuits.
