What should I be paying for a terabyte of transfer?
I know the hosting reps lurk here.
Dedicated Server. 1000GB+/month. What should I be paying? |
Bump for you because I'm sure other people wanna know too. I'm curious myself.
$150/month including the server
$200 / Month if you include managed services and backups
100$ if self managed :2 cents:
hmmm, what server? the cheapest self-managed I'd say $99.00 per month, but if you want faster CPU, more RAM, second (bigger) HD, the price goes up

Between 1-2 hundred bucks tops.
I pay $99/mo (unmanaged server) at sagonet.com
I should have mentioned managed too, and yeah, my current host is asking significantly more. Time to renegotiate, or move I guess. How do hosting companies usually respond to a challenge to their pricing? What should I say to get a better deal?
Reps, I'd love to see more offers in this thread. I'll be back they're not flexible. |
Under $150. Call Mike @ Webair for the hook up.
who are you hosting with now?
darn! that's not bad at all
I'm paying $170 for 500 Gigs, with very good customer service |
