FlashComm - FCS memory leak issues

Do any of you guys who run FCS ever have issues with memory leaks?

The RAM used on a server running FCS keeps going up progressively until it eventually crashes or FCS has to be re-started

I thought it was our application but I ran Macromedia's Videoconferencing test application and it does the exact same thing...

What are others' experiences with this?

Have you tried Flash Media Server 2.0?

It could be a bad install / misconfigured app or server. Is it happening across all of your servers?

odd, hope you get it resolved soon

BlueWire: We refuse to pay the ridiculous price they're asking to upgrade. 1.5 has always worked fine for us.

Tical: It seems the test app stopped leaking memory after about a 10k initial increase so I think it is definitely an application bug.

The developers are working on debugging it but to speed up the process... If any actionscript programmers want to try to debug this for us please let me know. We could pay well if the leak could be eliminated as we want to launch this new software.

There is an updater for 1.5 that resolves a significant amount of core issues (including some memory leaks)

I'd give that a shot if you haven't yet as it may not be entirely the applications fault

Hit me up John. I could have the www.cam2camlive.com team look into it
