Its just a name stuck on a car. and I agree that the reliability of the VWs coming out of Mexico is crap.. Its not the VW of days gone by...

I think it's called the VW Fox here in the uk.

A friend of mine still has one.. her dad keeps it in the garage and drives it on occasion because he loves it! Says it was the best car he ever owned :)
