Is a company allowed to just hand out private information to anyone who asks for it?
seems some feel they can handover any info to just anyone that asks for it
want to know more...ill post more once i know the full scoop just to be fair. |
anything is possible, but you could sue them for it
|
are you referring to data brokers? Seems congress is finally getting interested in this corrupt industry
|
no one gave out my info...but it seems a big company handed over someone social security number...someone that works for them it seems
|
I heard AT&T will soon be referring to customer private information as "business documents" so they can hand it over to whoever wants it (well, probably not "anyone", but you get the point).

without consent they aren't allowed to hand over info , due to privacy
but check the small print and you will see that most time you give consent to do anything with your details should always negotiate contracts that you sign , remember that you are a customer , |
