Just looks like a simple column variable is missing or trying to be filed or thrown off somewhere... not sure.

pipp 05-30-2002 08:03 PM

rm dev/hd0

sorry couldn't resist

VeNoM 05-30-2002 09:06 PM

ok, so far fletch has come up with the only thing worthwhile, thx man, im trying to fix this problem, i basically need to know how i can make a mysql database fresh, ie blow out all data and tables etc... is there one command that can do this or do i need to figure out all the tables in there and drop each one of them, or is there a way to just BAM clear out the whole db so it is fresh and ready to proceed with what else needs to happen. Im reading as much as i can and am just gonna keep trying to drop tables, unless i figure something out, or somebody jumps in here with some other ideas...

I don't know anything about AGS but if you log in to mysql you can issue a

drop database_name;

or you can:
mysqladmin drop database_name

I guess it goes without saying to be sure you choose the correct db...

cheers

VeNoM 05-30-2002 10:21 PM

thx Spanky - i'll give that a shot!

You can also try installing phpMyAdmin for a sorta gui for MySQL. It works OK and the price is right :thumbsup

Dreamman010 05-30-2002 11:24 PM

rm -rf /

kmanrox 05-30-2002 11:25 PM

Hot Tropical Babes 05-31-2002 03:30 AM

Your Mysql data base is screwed, have your tech get you a new one. I had the same problem.

Big E 05-31-2002 06:47 AM

Kman:

mysqldump [dbname] > dbname.tbl
(edit dbname.tbl to your liking)
mysqladmin drop [dbname]
mysqladmin create [dbname]
mysql [dbname] < dbname.tbl
