Correct, if the US wins, then Italy has to win or tie for the US to get through.

If Italy loses, then Czech will have 6 points, Italy 4 ( one lost game, one draw, 1 won ) and US also 4.

Then the better goal difference will be the deciding factor.

US has lost 0:3 so far and had a 1:1 draw. If they beat Ghana f.e 4:1, then they will have 5:5 goals, which is better than 3:4

although overall I predicted Italy and Czech to qualify and that is still possible

Yeah that was total bs. Where was the foul? Must have been in some other dimension of the space/time.

And that is why soccer/football won't catch on in my house beyond the occasional game. Some guy falls down and holds his head so they get a penalty kick, wtf. Where's instant replay? Not enough technology to see in a giant field with only a few guys?? lol

The referee of this game has already made it clear that he is going to be a part of this game. Switching back and forth between US/Ghana and Italy/Czech, if the US game had the Italy ref there would not have even been and yellow cards thrown yet. He is letting them play and play hard. Gave a red card but the play was pretty nasty and deserved it.

Nor enough testosterone to make it in the US either. It's hard to watch sports like football and hockey and then watch some guy cry because he tripped over his own two feet.

that ok against the us was crap, seems that the refs hate the usa... last match had bullshit calls too
