noone?

ServerGenius 05-30-2002 05:30 PM

I use TM3 and it kicks ass bigtime....Defenitely in the league
of UCJ. It has a few more features and the interface looks a bit
cleaner.

My opinion go either for TM3 or UCJ most other scripts are crap
X3 scripts might be added but I have no experience with that one.

Most important offcourse is that itīs rock stable and lightning
fast. Everything is coded in C and it uses itīs own database
structure....so itīs not depending on mysql or anything.

There are quite a few sites including some really big ones that
use TM3 I just donīt know which ones on the top of my head.

Great support thereīs almost always someone online which you
can contact by ICQ....Nothin but praise...here!

I use TM3 too, I've had nothing but success with it. I've used CJUltra, UCJ and X3 in the past, I like TM3 the best.

Stats layout is very clean, its fast and for the most part very accurate.

Excellent cheat logs as well.

Gracias :)

the fact that it does not use mysql is not a positive aspect at all... mysql means stable, fast and above all PROVEN... why reinventing the wheel - including all the problems and bugs that come with it - and come up with your own database system??

mysql rocks imho

Planet Bob 05-30-2002 07:41 PM

Im all pro mysql but if their database is optimized to their script it could work quiet nicely. MySQL is free so the only *real* reason not to use it was to create a better alternativ.

TommyM 05-31-2002 12:12 AM

I dont use it myself, but one of my friends does and he says it is a OK script.....

Support is great too

I recommend it :thumbsup

Mysql rocks but it's not suitable for tradescripts and counters.
Especially with high volume traffic it sucks. It's a lot of overhead
to use a database deamon for this kind of job and it would take
a lot of system resources.

TM3 does not use somekind database deamon so don't worry
about bugs, development, etc, etc. it's based on flat files

DinaSpain which sites do you run? any spanish one? i'm the new TM3 spanish seller/support, i would like to chat with you, mybe i know you from the spanish adult biz but can't remember that nick. Look at my profile for icq.
About how good is the script, i won't talk about it because i'm part of the team so it would be spam, but if any of you have anything to ask contact me and i will be more that happy to answer you.

BTW DarkJedi, you know me don't you? :)

Cheers, Icy

There was a discussion about this on one of the boards not long ago.. TM3db vs MySQL..

summary: MySQL is great. It kicks ass. But it wasnt designed for applications like this (many read/writes, very small amounts of data).

Thats why we coded our own DB. It has proven to be fast and stable enough to suit any site.
