Take that pos back to the store and get a regular pc.. Problem solved.. Ive been there myself.. Never go back.

Its good for testing things or emergencies - but don't plan on playing any games with it. Even with a really fast G5 its not going to be that fast (but it does work). Best bet is to save up for a dual core...

Virtual PC for Mac has recieved terrible reviews. Some people have said it even freezes and stuff... (I've done the research and been there, too) - it's easier and cheaper to get a Dell notebook for small PC operations. (ok, maybe not cheaper... )
And, to the person who implied Apple computers are a piece of shit... I don't do the whole Mac vs PC thing, it's really a waste of time and mostly a matter of preference... the only negative issue with Mac is the lack of compatibility (which is being resolved as mentioned in an earlier post). Anyway, you got a more secure OS with more efficient machinery, i hardly would refer to that as a POS. |
it works really good, but i wouldnt suggest it for any serious work...

My :2 cents: Macs are unbeatable if your income depends on design, photography, etc
Games and stuff .... get a pc |
I heard its very slow if your not doing big stuff that shouldnt be a problem.

Ever since Microcrap bought it, it runs like fucking shit (Gee wonder why). Older versions worked great for me, don't use it anymore, I never find myself in a situation where i needed a PC anymore.
