What do sponsors look for in affiliates?
 

We see a lot of threads about what people are looking for in a sponsor... but what type of affiliates are sponsors looking for?

If you could pick and choose who promoted you, what are the characteristics you would want in an affiliate?

he/she never talks to me and sends 100+ signups a day, that's about it ;)

I usually check out their asses.

a large penis is a plus

for someone pushing 100 signups a day, wouldnt you want to talk to them to maybe increase that number ? :)

But seriously, to answer your question: A good affiliate is someone who sends targetted traffic that converts. That's the important thing, signups.

for 50 paid signups a day id mow there grass and put there bins out :thumbsup

We actively seek affiliates with targetted traffic. Nothing hurts more than some guy sending us tons of shit traffic that we know won't convert. Recently some guy bought 50,000 hits from China and sent every damn one of them to us. I felt bad that he bought the traffic but we weren't the place to send it in the first place and we told him so after the first 30 minutes of the traffic starting. He never stopped it.

We also like affiliates who suggest things we can do to help them better convert their particular traffic. We also like honest affiliates :bowdown

few signups / day is enough ...
at the best ratio possible ....

We like all affiliates.. big fish and small fish! See sig and sign up :winkwink:

a affiliate that is really devoted to promote your sites/program and if he can just send 1 sale a day or 1 sale every other day that doesnt matter that much as long as he is devoted to promote your program.

Also a affiliate that hit's you up with feedback on new features or his opinions on stuff so you could improve your product.

We look for affiliates who ask questions, request content, make suggestions, work hard and make money. Because if they make money so do we..

In short we like communication !!!!!!!

people who can produce without being a pain in the ass.

moderate steady sales, low chargebacks/credits with a decent trial to full member conversion rate with a low fraud occurance on their traffic score with our tracking...

We'd gladly pay plenty of people more per signup if they can do this... If you think you have what it takes to be my dream affiliate hit me up...

I love to see affiliates who have an interest in making money with us. It doesn't matter to me whether it's 1 hit a day or 1 million. If they are making an honest effort to promote us, I'll do anything in my power to help them make the most money possible.

I've given newbies tip, bent over backwards to help veterans and I've setup affiliates with promo tools that weren't previously implemented.

In a nutshell, all affiliates are good affiliates as long as they are playing by the rules. :)

I'm inspired to start sending Anna, 100 signups now. I like the attitudes some of you have, about appreciating big fish and small fish both. Nice to hear. A small fish might be a big fish at another sponsor already and can turn into one for you later.

Someone that knows how to promote what you have to offer, i.e. they have matching traffic. Somebody that communicates what tools they need from you to be more productive.
