Fuck Email -- how many of you still use email?
I'd say for the last year I've moved further and further away from email. I do all my biz on ICQ or the phone. Am I alone?
With so many viruses and advertisements and sponsor spam -- email has become totally useless to me -- out of 200 emails maybe I get 1 that is useful. And I usually tell that 1 person -- please ICQ me or call me because I have no patience w/ email anymore. It's really unavoidable to give out your email address to sign up for anything these days -- and don't bother trying to have your email address removed from mailing lists -- that just adds you to the "sucker human" list so you can be spammed by 100 other fucks. I get spam in french, chinese, for shit I've never even heard of -- people must use my domains to sign up for products and services... Whenever I sign up for any BS program I always use [email protected] to avoid spam in my box... Fuck email. And as for ICQ -- I'm suprised that we are all still using it -- but it really is one of the most useful programs ever! I get maybe only 1 ICQ spam every 3 months! |
Hell no. I rely very heavily on The Pony Express.

any of you ever try 2 cans and string...decent speed and no viruses:glugglug

I couldn't live without e-mail.
ure, the ICQ is a very usefull tool in this and othet Internet business but not all of my friends have ICQ and I do get alot of usefull e-mails everyday. If you know how to protect your e-mail address and you do not expose it all over the net the chance of it beeing collected by e-mail harvesting programs is quite low. Thus the ammount of spamm wil be moderate to low... |

Ok, i tried putting my pigeon into a can with a string but when I threw it up in the air the poor guy just fell to the ground. I tried communicating with him thru the other side of the can/string but no response... I guess its back to email for me. :(

BTW>.... 3xguru, get that stupid sig off your shit. Its the reason were getting these macromedia plugin popups when we visit threads with your posts in them. I have tracked you down and now know its you.

Everyone I need to do biz wit is on my ICQ list and I don't know any adult webmaster that uses any other IM besides ICQ -- besides w/ the clones now like Trillian -- why would anyone NOT have an ICQ# ??? As for sending files -- FTP is the fastest option -- large files through email are a bad idea anyway. |
I have 1 word...flapjacks.
If your server doesn't support flapjacks, specifically Flapjacks 2.0 you are lagging behind. Flapjacks have already begun to revolutionize communications as we know it. Email is dead. TCP/IP will die soon. Hell, in another couple of years, we won't even have use for dialup anymore. Thank God for Flapjacks. |
fuck flapjacks, creamcakes and donuts make them obsolete
|
fuck icq... i always loose my number and have to register all over... now i got a number so big no one believes that i am in biz for years... even my hotmail address promises more creditability.....

I still use email alot...
But if I do use an yahoo one for alot of stuff... Use Yahoo email for like search engines submits... I also use yahoo IM. but the only ones on my list are women.. I do not use Outlook so I don't have to worry that much with email Virus's.... I use Netscape 4.7 for my email and Newsgroup reader. IE for browser..... I really don't think I'll ever use Outlook... Microsoft is so fucked up... I give out my regular email address's only to people I know usually... and strange pussy's all the time.... |
