I've had one...occasionally it'll "pop" on you if you go under some low hanging wires or something

VIPimp 06-20-2006 09:49 PM

yea... sucks... works great in one area, then while im driving all sudden it goes to shit... i think i threw mine away.

Aquarius 06-20-2006 09:52 PM

Heh.. mine didnt plug into my Ipod well enough there was constant static noise, couldnt listen to music at all over mid volume

I got one of the Belkin ones that plugs into the ipod, and then transmits to the radio on an FM station. Horrible reception. You need to have a place to put it that keeps it absolutely still (ie: not lying on the passenger seat). Totally not worth the $50.

I bought the IRIver transmitter.

Way better than the iTrip.

Aquarius 06-20-2006 11:09 PM

Thanks all for your input, I'll check the IRIver transmitter.
