This is being posted on Bugbee's behalf...

I've had the pleasure of recently speaking to him. It's been a rough couple of weeks....

Since the last thread, he's undergone 2 open heart surgeries. Both were very successful and Bugbee's now recovering in a private room. He currently awaits final approval for the UCLA Heart program and is looking forward to receiving his new heart very soon!

He does not have Internet access at this time, but he asked me to tell all of you how very much he appreciates your kind words, thoughts and prayers. He told me how blessed he feels to have so many wonderful friends and thanked me for sharing his situation as he truly needs the support.

He is now able to receive calls, cards, flowers, etc. They can be sent to:

I have that as well, but they dont usually allow cell phones to be turned on in Hospitals. That is why I was looking for a landline:winkwink:

Just an fyi - Bugbee's birthday is this Thursday. I'm sure it would make his day to hear from his friends. If anyone wants gift ideas, I'm think he would appreciate VHS tapes - he just got a VCR in his room. Also, he has a psp that's keeping him busy, but the games are probably getting old. He's on a restricted diet while he waits for a new heart, so don't be sending him cheeseburgers:-)
