I am currently using google analytics as a i got email to them ages ago and recieved my invitation about a month ago ,so far its giving me okish results, apart from past couple of days, but is it good or not, i have nothing to compare it with.

Could someone give me some other free programs please to use?

you get what you pay for dude....I use www.cnstats.com and while it doesn't track multiple sites in one interface, I am more than happy with it's tracking results...it even has the ability to track adwords and other PPC results

so is it worth spending a little on something as important as a traffic watcher?

it all depends on how serious you are about it....I love cnstats, and have tried everything from here to there, and it is the one thing I have found that does everything I want and tracks every single thing I need

you can also try this - http://www.leveltendesign.com/L10Apps/HC/ - it is free, but for some reason I hate the interface...I want simple and one click shit, L10 makes me click like 10 times to get to the reports I need
