Sweden really have the evil eye over England, but the law of averages says thats got to end some time. Personally, I think the Swedes will play to not lose and be more than happy with a draw, ie Im expecting a bit of a dull match.

Sorry, I have only seen a really lousy English team so far. They will have to play 200% better to have a chance against anyone in the next round.

I was in England for a piss up when the England Paraguay game was on - there were England flags all over the place, flying from house windows, cars, you name it.

Now that I am back home in Scotland I have seen Trindad & Tobago and Swedish flags flying here.

There is certainly no love lost between the Scots and the English when it comes to football. :)

yes but england can play 500% better than they have been doing, that's the important thing. england lead the group, have not conceded a goal and won both games. and that's when they're playing at the very worst. it's usual for teams that do very well in the world cup to start off slowlyand improve as the competition improves. england are capable of beating anyone and allways raise there level when playing the top teams.

I always find English people get behind Scotland, Ireland and Wales (if they aren't playing England) whereas Scots, Irish and Welsh get behind whoever is against England....
