Need some desktop help....

I was installing a program into my computer and it messed up my desktop. I dont remember how in the hell to change this setting. Can anyone help please? :helpme

This is what my desktop looks like.. notice the "Folder Tasks", "Other Places" and "Details" on the left top of the desktop. WTF?????? How do a make it back to normal?
