Are mohawks still punk rock?
 

Now that every other kid in every third culdesac has one.... has the mohawk become lame?

i used to pimp one, but like you said, evey other person has one now.

My 5 year old sports a mohawk, so it's probably not as punk as it used to be...however, he wants to dye his green and yellow, so maybe it's a bit punkrock...it still gets some rumblings going at the PTA meetings, so it's not totally lame yet, but could be heading their....he also sports liberty spikes when he feels like it....hmmm

yeah and the fact he wears it when he feels like it (sometimes he'll smuggle hairglue to the bus stop and slick it up there) makes it a bit more punkrock...

Mohawks suck :1orglaugh

I've been sporting mine for a while now, and I don't think it's become less punk rock. True, they are more prevalent now, but I think what has fucked it all up are "faux-hawks" :disgust :disgust :disgust. Damn I hate those things.

Mohawk is still a punk thing here.. I still see kids and older guys on this haircut.
