Man, it just keeps getting better:Oh crap

6-17-06

As for the comment problems and bulletin problems as well as some other minor glitches in 3.0.1 we are fixing them now and beta testing them before its final release, to ensure they are fixed.

To those who have been having "Pending Friend Request" box problems. A few users noted, Adder Robot sent out friend requests yet no requests were actually added to the pending box. MySpace may be changing their script in someway to restrict us even more. We tested this on an account that already had 775 pending requests (users who didnt accept our requests on other dates), and sent out 500 more today. What was odd about this is, when our pending request box hit 1118, no more requests were added to our pending box! We canceled one request, this brought it back to 1117 as normal, and attempted to add another user manually...no luck, it stood at 1117 still. This means roughly only about 350 requests were able to be sent per day. Which leads us to the conclusion that MySpace has limited users even further, and this time not with the threat of being deleted, but just the inability to continue adding for the day. We'll look into it and see if this is for sure the case, but as for "bypassing" this, it is out of our hands as far as we know. If you have any further information about this situation, please e-mail us at [email protected]

3.0.2 will be available shortly.

probably best to play by the rules if you deal with myspace, they're certainly not someone i would want to mess with considering how much power they have

Yahoo chat bots are still in full effect and Yahoo has alot more power than Myspace. I'm playing by the rules though ;)

Does Myspace ban IPs? Or do they simply just delete accounts?

Yahoo is first and foremost a search engine, chat is just a tiny portion of what Yahoo is, and have you taken a look at everything News corp owns? Myspace has everything to lose by letting their site become overrun with that type of stuff. and take a look at who myspace's chief security officer is, i'm sure if you somehow bent the slighest law they could have action taken against you at the snap of a finger.
