so... the internet in 20 years?

Me and a friend were having a short discussion about this.

I said I reckon the internet in 20 years will have more security than normal life. I said whatever you do thats illegal will be monitiored and the who system will be secure.

He said it will be the other way and due to foriegn hosting it will all be different.

However I believe now however it may be half and half for a long time.

thankyou and good night.:winkwink:

madawgz 06-18-2006 01:37 PM

In twenty years there will no longer be an internet you dumb fuck. The internet is just a fad. In twenty years from now we will be getting our porn from inside cereal boxes as god intended. The majority of our entertainment needs will be met by trading burnt feces.

Here is a good book that will give you some insites on what the internet will be like in 20 years.

The SOVEREIGN INDIVIDUAL: MASTERING THE TRANSITION TO THE INFORMATION AGE

Rochard 06-19-2006 09:00 AM

The one big thing I see is that the Internet will deliver everything to your house including telephone services and cable TV (IPTV). There is alredy phone services that do this, and TVs are now being made to hook up directly to the Internet. You won't buy DVDs or even CDs; You'll buy the rights to view them as you wish and they will be stored on line. If you want to watch a certain movie on TV you just select that movie and it will be streamed to your TV or your computer. Same thing with music, although it can also be streamed to your car, IPOD like device, or whatnot.

Connections are going to get much faster.

They havent even secured the physical world yet, let alone the online world. The internet will never be secure, there will always be a way to get outside the matrix and do things without being detected.

Shocking 06-19-2006 09:07 AM

Adult or ilegal behave in internet will never die! trust me

E$_manager 06-19-2006 09:22 AM

hackers will develope as well, so there will be no safety!

scottybuzz 06-20-2006 05:38 AM

yes but hacking etc is alot less than it used to be, although phising is alot higher now days.

kabees 06-20-2006 05:40 AM

scottybuzz 06-25-2006 03:19 PM

As the years pass, so does technology.. which aids in even more technological advancement..

So in 20 years there's no telling what might be around.. if anything at all...

But I still say that there'll be an affordable holography interface for the pc that can bring true to form porn right into your room in the not too distant future...

MaddCaz 06-25-2006 04:48 PM

we'll be able to plug our dicks into the terminal and get off

Theo 06-25-2006 04:50 PM

20 years for now? none can even approach it with some accuracy. Let's say 10 from now

bknoob 06-25-2006 04:54 PM

I can tell you one thing. Free Hosted Picture/Movie Galleries will be a thing of the past.

scottybuzz 06-25-2006 07:56 PM

as long as the monies are rolling in free hosting stays

tony286 06-25-2006 07:59 PM

I think the net will be more like TV, more tv like productions and no small players.

czarina 06-25-2006 08:07 PM

Looks like a good history of the net. And it will only get worse.

scottybuzz 06-26-2006 03:30 AM

gooddomains 06-26-2006 03:37 AM

$5 submissions 06-26-2006 04:14 AM

I have a feeling we WON'T RECOGNIZE IT! Also, it will be WAY MORE SECURE than it is now. And spam.....we'll spam will be way different from its current form.
