truth ads good or bad?

I don't know if anyone has seen the anti-smoking campagn named truth. You think they make you wanna stop smoking or start? I smoke a ciggarette everytime I see that add.

Babaganoosh 05-29-2002 04:22 PM

I agree, it has the opposite effect on me than it should have. I always want to light up when I see it. I don't really smoke anymore, but that ad makes me want to do it.

SetTheWorldonFire 05-29-2002 04:28 PM

I hate it when it's on the radio while you're smoking. Everyone looks at you like your a sicko.

"Questa, Pesta y Molesta" is the mexican modo for anti smoking.

DigitalPimpShit 05-29-2002 04:30 PM

I can't fucking stand those little truth shitheads, commercials are annoying as hell, and almost never make sense, they may not be smoking cigarettes, but I think they are smoking crack.

I gave up smoking over 6 months ago and I don't even think about them anymore.

That is until one of those bloody anti smoking ad comes on.

They really piss me off.

there was a recent story out that all the anti-drug commercials and such actually encouraged it among younger teens.

errr.. i guess it has some relevance.

(edited because i'm so fucking hungry i can't think straight and submitted it before i was done :BangBang: )

dipshit moron retard 05-29-2002 04:58 PM

the most amusing goodygoody ads are the 'dont smoke weed or you'll get grounded' :thumbsup those kill me. its so fucking obvious the first time you see it any kid is going to die laughing at that shit. yet they run it for a year anyway, and i just saw an article on drudgereport yesterday saying studies show that ad campaign is having the 'opposite intended effect on children'. NO SHIT?!

morons. they cant have out of touch migraines running these things if they want them to be even marginally effective.
