Mine was back in 1999 in Montreal.

It was WebExpo at the Wyndham. We had a content company and I was also booking lots of models for entertainment :winkwink:

I remember going to a thing in Jersey in '98, seemed like it was a lot of folks selling content and a few porn stars wandering around promoting their shit.

First "adult show" was prob the Sex Fair in Frankfurt in early 80's, but net-related was.. whatever it was called... in Vegas around 95-96.

Erotica2000 in Toronto.

Most memorable show was BondCon in Queens, NY - in Oct. 2001....just weeks after the 911 attacks. Smoke was still rising from the WTC rubble across the river, and the Crown Plaza Hotel across from La Guardia Airport where the convention was held was also hosting a firefighter's tribute dinner that weekend.

We had firefighters and somber dignitaries in tuxedos being serenaded by violin players on one side of the hotel, and BDSM/fetish industry people on the other.

Very surreal.

Back in 2000... can't remember exactly when, but it was in Vancouver. I went with some webgirls that I knew since I was helping them out with odd and ends, and met some people, offered my help and the rest is, as they say... history.

Actually it was the Phoneix Forum, I think it was 2000.. I was in AZ on an interview with Sun America Mutual funds and a freind of mine was working for a hosting company..
