Why is everyone looking for the cheapest solution? I guess alot of people don't believe in what you pay for is what you get.

I'm not looking for necessarily cheap, just cost effective, I don't have much money I work full time at best buy lol, trying to get stuff going so I can leave there

Hmmm if you don't know whether or not your box is managed, I will say that you should probably be looking at managed solutions and that dollar figure will not get you a whole lot in the way of bandwidth.

I am VERY happy with WebAir. Got a dedicated server there and they have been GREAT!

aPlus has good deals on dedicated boxes. they also offer value servers dirt cheap (see submenu of dedicated section)

Softlayer a top notch but a bit more expensive or you could try Layered Tech, they're cheap and good.
