Back when I was young and dumb I would have helped hack and distribute it. But the software itself would have so many bugs it wouldn't be worth the hassle... But I'd do it anyway.

I have a pretty good feeling that Vista is going to suck. Possibly more than current Windows versions. They claim they have done a massive overhaul on the Windows kernel to increase security, but they have already released a patch for Vista to fix a security problem with WMF files. Windows had that same problem with earlier releases.

Oh yeah, and the system requirements for running Vista are insane. Graphics card, processor and amount of RAM all have to be top of the line, and you know that shit is still going to be crashing.

You can run linux all day on a shitty system and never worry about it slowing down or crashing. And it's free.

I'll switch to running some *nix mainly instead, and run winblows in VMWare...
Will just have to get more gear first, like a couple of more machines :Graucho

Actually, my computer is a couple months old now and it's specs far exceed the requirements of Vista... by a long shot.
In another year or two, games will require way more resources than Vista, and computers will be more than capable.

It's just that for right now, for anyone who has a computer 1+ years old, yes... Vista will need every last bit of juice from it.
