Friends: Like minded or opposites?
I was just reading through the Craigs List classifieds and I came across a girl who wanted to make some friends. She wanted liberal people only, because she was liberal, and anybody who liked Bush would not be somebody she wants to talk with. I got a chuckle out of that because a lot of the people that I get along with best have completely opposite viewpoints than I do.
The whole opposites attract thing. Talking to people with different opinions is interesting to me, if I wanted to hear exactly what I think I could just talk to myself, you know?
