yo hosting companies why don't you put the specs of what you can offer for 99$? im looking as well hehehe :) bump for you bro! i've seen cool and cheap deal in webhostingtalk forum you should check them as well and 75% of the companies there probably allowed adult content!

First we must figure out what the prospect needs. Is bandwidth of main importance or storage, or processing power? Lets say for giggles that a celeron with 1/2 meg of ram and 1,000 gig of bandwidth will cost the same as a P4 with H/T with a gig of ram and 500 gig of bandwidth. Now, if he has a ton of databases, the P4 is the better choice. Static pages (like galleries) only, the celeron box would be acceptable.

Also, hosting has become ridiculously competitive and once a price is posted, the next "whore" will along and sell it for 10 dollars less. If price is your only concern, well, good luck to you, but if you want to see what a host truly has to offer, it is best done by some conversation.

Most of the people " claiming " to look for hosting ... are just trying to get prices that are low to get their ACTUAL host to lower their service fees ...

As for deals on the other forum, from the moment it is adult, you will see the prices changes...
Adult customers uses the ressources that they purchase ...
Mainstream dont...

Example:

- 200 virtual accounts on a Box, each with 1 gig of storage allowed (200 gigs total )
- " " " , each with 15 gigs of BW ( 3000 gigs total )

Actual server :

160 gigs/hd - 5 Mbps ( about 1600 gigs)

Actual usage :

- Storage : 32%
- BW : 14%
