If you shoot (or fuck) NON-CONDOM in Thailand, read this.

I just took a girl to the hospital tonight to test for HIV. She failed it. Nothing new for Thailand but what is new is that she told me afterwards that she knew she was HIV+ and that sometimes she passes HIV tests because he medicine sometimes makes her better.

Translated... her protease inhibitor meds suppress the virus to the point it is not detectable, but she is still HIV+ and can transmit the virus. Magic Johnson is this way.

This is a first for Thailand and a girl to pull this on me. She honestly thinks that sometimes she does not have the virus and is OK to fuck without condoms.

I think I'm going to stop all non-condom shoots here over this because she said she knows other girls who are the same way. Un-fucking-believable.

Why? We can get the same tests here as you can get in LA. We can even get both tests, where in LA they only use the PCR-DNA.

Not totally insane. Smarter that those shooting with just the PCR-DNA test, a test that should NOT be the only test used for screening HIV. Do your homework on it.

I think there's a kind of test that always detects hiv, I'm not really sure.

There is no 100% accurate test that has no window of exposure. An Elisa test is the most accurate but has the largest window of exposure. If positive on an Elisa, the Western Blot is used to confirm the positive test. THEN you are set in stone on a positive result. But as far as I know, there is not a test out that is 100% accurate with no window of exposure. Meaning... if you were infected last night, it would detect it today... there is not a test like this yet, as far as I know.

Though AIM claims the PCR-DNA to be the most accurate and fool-proof, but that is rubbish.

I know several girls here in Thailand that still fuck bareback and know they are HIV+. That is just how they do it here. Many of them do not care about tomorrow, only care about right now. One girl I know keeps getting abortions because she keeps getting knocked up!!! Unreal I tell you.

Tests are not 100% reliable, and especially with medication false negatives are not that uncommon - something I guess you found out just now. In the west, the relatively low occurrence of HIV combined with the relative reliability of tests gives a pretty good degree of safety. With groups with a high infection rate, however, the reliability of tests is too low to be on the safe side, especially considering that the PCR test was developed for the non-C-clade virus, while the C-clade virus dominates in a number of developing countries with high prevalence of HIV.

Personally, I wouldn't fuck anyone from a risk group without a condom before having her take an ELISA, a Western Blot, a PCR and a CD4 - preferably all at least twice :1orglaugh

We can do all that here for 1/4 of the cost of the PCR-DNA in LA.

But yes, you are correct on the PCR-DNA not being the best test. All should be used in the USA as well in the industry but its not. AIM has everyone brain washed.

Well, do them all thrice, each batch with an interval of two months, meanwhile making absolutely sure the girl has no sex whatsoever in the mean time, and afterwards, you'll be able to do condomless shoots fairly safely :winkwink:
