How to stop a bandwidth thief
Someone is stealing my bandwidth by hotlinking an image -
first of all how can i stop someone from doing that? secondly how can i make the image load on their page saying 'i'm a filthy fucking thief" thanks |

there are some scripts to stop hotlinking, just do a quick search on google..
edit, if your running cpanel, then it has the function already in the admin area |
you use htaccess tools
|
1) htaccess
2) htaccess + mod_rewrite |
|
Change the pics into a banner for your site, you get some free adverts until they find out

change picture but keep it same file name

Your host should be able to stop this for you. As for changing the image, if you know what image they are hot linking then just make a new image and reupload using the same file name and your fuck off image will appear instead ;)
