Forum owners making 10k+ a month here?
 

Hey trying to gauge the adult side of forums. Obviously besides the big 5 or so webmaster forums, is there anyone making atleast 10k a month from your own forum? I run 1 mainstream forum that has 42 advertisers paying 300 each per month. Is there money in adult forums?

Seems to me that you may be limiting the income to paid advertisers and potentially missing major dollars in branding and self promoting.

Its only 8 months old and I really havent maximized it I suppose, its now pretty self sufficient and allows me to do other things as far as revenue generating is concerned. I probably am missing what you mentioned, thanks.

out of curiosity, what exactly do they get for $300/month? They get the priveledge to post? I hope to hell that they get a whole lot more than that.

They get to post in the regular forums, post in the vendor forum for their new products, banner exposure obviously, about 28-31k a day come through

its like anything in life, marketing is the key in many aspects and utilization of how to go about this. There is room for new adult forum boards but it is how they are approached and marketed that is the key
