like it is just working hard

only when programs or wahtever open

just started happening when we moved into a new house
could it be un even? could something be touching something??

the pc is running fine just kinda annoying

maybe because this room is very empty and i am hearing it more than the old house that the room it was in was always noisy and full of stuff

Back up, run a low level format and check disk . You can consult the HD's manufacturer for the program and instrcutions to run it.
