I am back... with updates

Miss me? I know you did.

For those that don't care move along, mommy's calling you. But for the few that are concerned or may have been trying to contact me this past week or wondering what happened to the trivia contest etc, this is for you.

In a nutshell my harddrive fried, in the blink of an eye, last Tuesday morning. All data lost as far as I know. (there are still techies working on extracting it but no luck so far)

Meantime, I had a custom system built for me, and am now back online. I have 7 of my 20-odd email accounts active, ICQ, and a few of my most cherished programs re-installed. But the real news is this new baddass system I now have.

I am the proud owner of a dual-core 2.6Ghz doubleoverheadcam psycho-computer. It's so fast I'm afraid it'll blow the windows out in my house.

I should be good for about a year before I'm back in the stoneage. :D

Anyway, good to be back. I've had enough of spring cleaning and yard work and TV to last, well, until next year.

Now I'll go fuck myself. I suggest you do the same.

I did the same upgrade a couple of months ago... went balls to the wall and got all the best the store had to offer.

There's nothing like using a machine that can run anything no matter the highest requirements :thumbsup

Welcome back!

A-fucking-men.

The case on this thing looks freaky as hell. I just copied/pasted my entire music library from backup CD's to the new drive and couldn't believe how fast it did it.

It's a huge upgrade for me. I was on a 900Mhz HP bought in late 2000. Amazingly enough THIS computer, being that it's about 50 times the system that that was, cost me less than half of what my old system did.

Now everything's behind a router, old computer will be used as extra backup and storage as soon as I get it back.

For anyone wondering, the TOUGH TRIVIA contest will be back in a few weeks. I lost all my back-logged questions-and-answers, It'll take me a while to collect enough to get it going again.

I bet my computer can beat up your computer.
