Im contacting the police.
What do you do when you get child porn emails? Who do you report it to?
I am interested in prosecuting an email spammer sending this sort of shit. Any technical or legal help would be appreciated. |
|
shit unlucky mr chips, u shouldnt have to go through that at all.
|
I get this shit all the time, I've made alot of custom filters in my mail client to delete anything with shit terms like loli lolita, yadda yadda...
It helps alot if you learn your filters in your mail client.. |
Filters are ok to stop the shit coming to me Media - but that doesnt stop the scumbag fucker thats sending the shit out.
Im fucking sick of it. And I mean it. |
its not damcash you know
it is a rogue spammer...trying to fuck everyone if you dont realise that..please unplug yourself from the internet |

"many people don't get that ..."
I do though. :) Phoenix - are you saying that I shouldnt inform the FBI about child porn? Well I think I should thanks all the same. |
The sender address is almost guaranteed to be spoofed, along with the rest of the email header. BUT, if the email has an actual website, then by all means I'd report that.
|
PR_tom - :) - LOL - Ive a touch more info than a friggin header ;)

I've had one of my unused webmaster addresses spoofed for that kind of scum spam over the past couple of days (that I'm aware of). |
Of course you have to do something against those bastards!

Call you local police at your own risk. Maybe they will take your computer and see what shit you have on it. Maybe they won't like that you're doing porn in the community.... |
If you are in the US you would report it to the Cyber Tip Line at http://www.missingkids.com/missingki..._US&PageId=169
run by The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. If you have actually seen images or whatever you would actually be guilty of a felony if you do not report it. It helps your case if you happen to get prosecuted in the mix for viewing the stuff - if you report it immediately |

Do not call local cops for internet cp issues. Period. That's what ASACP is for. |
I want to thank everyone for their concern and desire to take action against CP.
ASACP does not accept "spam" email reports, however, if the website address of the suspected child pornography site is contained in the email please report this to us - http://www.asacp.org/report.php. Issues regarding "spam" email in general should be addressed with your ISP (internet service provider). Instructions for reporting a website URL in a "spam" email Simply place your mouse pointer over the URL link or linked pic / graphic contained in the suspect email. ? Click the right mouse button to bring up the options window. ? Select "Copy link target to clipboard" with the left mouse button. ? Go to our report form and click on the "Suspect Site URL" box with the left mouse button. (there should now be a blinking cursor in this box) ? With your mouse cursor over the "Suspect Site URL" box click the right mouse button again to bring up the options window and select "Paste" with the left mouse button ? The suspect URL contained in the email should now appear in the "Suspect Site URL" box in our report form. Continue to fill out the rest of the form with any further information you may have and click Submit Report. To learn more about ASACP's cp reporting hotline - http://www.asacp.org/faq.php |

you sticking up for CP spammers? sounds like it :321GFY |
im getting more than 200 a day to my airek account on rage.
|
FYI - there is a new trend - many of these CP spam emails are just actually a scam to steal collect credit card info. How can a pedophile say 'my credit card info was stolen when I was trying to buy CP.
|
Ive been getting a ton of them, the scum bag is probably on the other side of the world.
|
Joan - thats the biggest thing is that most of these emails dont actually go to CP - they lead to a sponsors site redirected from the url in the email - so there really isnt any CP involved.
The use of the words in the email that Ive seen lately that are related to CP are just in the email text itself - none of the actual urls are CP - rarely there will be one - the last one I saw was from the spammer on Yahoo that we reported but other than that its just annoying emails that can be filtered with your ISP software or email client |
