I played it as a kid in the States but when I moved here it got into my blood. Plus, I love knock out tournements in most sports.

See, I don't get why you would go out of your way to wish England to not win. OKay, I get the historical reasons for a grudge, etc but even though I have lived here for a decade now I will never be comfortable with the Scottish/English thing that gets down right nasty. If Scotland was the one UK team in the finals I would root for them - not wish them 'harm'.

Not to the same level..it is only since moving here that I really came to understand why people like to watch it as much as play it. The passion for the game here is nowhere near like in the States.
