RSS feeds in members area?

K, I've got a wordpress install in my members directory. I've tried to use the PhoneBlogz plugin, but it won't work for audio posts on the go, and I believe it's due to the fact that my blog is in a password protected area. So, I've found a workaround, but I need to know if anyone has any experience importing RSS feeds into a blog in a protected area, or if I'll just continue to have the same problem. Thanks!

i ended up creating a separate blog and importing via RSS, and so far, so good, so let's just hope nothing breaks like everything else has broken today, lol. :Oh crap

Presumably the import is being executed by an admin from within the protected area, no? In which case, the import is just like an author making posts. Right-to-view that content is what would be affected by the protected log-in, not right-to-author. Or am I totally confused -- :)

What are you importing the feeds with, and are they making posts or just being disaplyed as links in the template?
