Adwords Confusion About Adult Ads
 
I joined an adult website as an affiliate and I created an adwords campaign for it.

The ad is set up, but it does not display when I enter the test phrase. Other ads for adult do show up.

About 7 days past, The Ad Group's Impr. is still ZERO !!!

Google give a long explanation which says that if a search phrase would normally activate an adult adwords ad, but there is no other adult content on the search page, the ad will be suppressed.

This makes sense - it prevents to possibiity of offending people who aren't really looking for that kind of content.

But it can't presumably be an explanation in this case, because other ads for adults ARE shown.

I have been round this loop with Google adwords support perhaps six or more times. EAch time I get a different support person. Each time they paste in the same explanation. And each time they ignore my replies explaining why I can't see how their explanation works on this case.

If you can show me I'm wrong, and Google is right, Please tell me why when other adult ads show up in the search, but mine does not.

A) If you are promoting the same site as someone else yours won't show up. Only ONE ad for an site is allowed.

B) your ad or keywords may be still under review. Adult ads are no longer instantly listed. Also sometimes Google takes forever to get around to reviewing them. Sometimes you got to remind them that you are waiting for a review.

Hard to help you beyond that without known which keyword your ad isn't showing up for. 1-866-2goolge and talk to a REAL person.

the only way to deal with adwords is to call them.. email support is a bunch of useless form letters
