i know there's tons of room for fraud with online checks, should i scrap it, or allow people more options to join my site?

We added them - again - scrubbing is better then a yr or so ago

But yes they bounce 25-30% approx here

Give your surfers the check option; you will make more money this way. Plus, retention is better with checks than CC.
