Someone stole my AMEX #
 

I just got my monthly statement with a few unauthorized charges on it.

One of them was for $2400+ in computer equipment.

So now I have to spend a day calling all the companies who auto bill me with a new #.

sucks doesn't it....i've had to do it 3 times in the last 2 years

Thats been comming up alot at my work..People trying to do multiple charges adding up anywhere from 5k-20k not thinking the billing company is going to need to verify a purchase over the net for that much cash

Good thing my wife is good with the numbers, the amount was not out of the ordinary, I may have just paid it until she asked me what the charges were for.

Amex is good in regards to shit like this.... I have had fuckers double bill me , the limo fucker fucking me and other shit....I called Amex and they took care of it.

btw they dont take Amex at Scores

yeah amex and visa are both pretty ok if your mc has this itll take ages and they want zillions of proof.. sucks, anyone can understand that some things are fucked up, I had a $900 fake pizza to go bill on my Visa long ago, took 5 secs before they had the merchant and to send the credit.
