Yep. Got one in my house.
They take all of 10 minutes to install, and are pretty sturdy. The girlfriend does all manner of crazy spins and what not on it without a problem. It just drills up into a stud, and you wedge it up into the drilled out stud hole and the pressure keeps it in place on the floor. Comes down almost as easy. I think it was about $250 all said and done and even came with a fake plant hook to keep up in the ceiling to cover the drill hole in case you needed to take down the pole for company. We had a professional one installed in our old loft, it was 18 feet hight
it was an ordeal to get it in though, we had concrete floors....but well worth it, there were many a drunk night my friends and I had fun on it |
went to a party at my buddys house who had one, and when i walked in his mom was on it. needless to say, i was up there with singles in hand.
