Anyone got the MotoQ yet?
I need to get a new plan and I can't decide between the MotoQ and the Treo700.
My girl can get the Q thru work for $149, and the Treo 700w for $249. The guy at Verizon described the Q as a phone with pda capabilities and the Treo a pda with phone capabilities. In the end, it's just a phone. I'm one torn gadget freak. |
I got it and im happy with it so far.
you were going to get in touch with me awhile back about promoting my chubby site... if you are still interested let me know. thanks. congrats on 19k :thumbsup |
I am waiting for them to hit canada. I have been phoneing the providers and Motorla asking when they are going to have them.
No answer yet. Verizon is using the EVDO technology for their internet connectivity and are promosing alomost broadband speed over the cel network. Be interesting to see if it really works that fast. |
JJ and I got ours last week and we are loving them!

The size is the only plus. That's the feedback I've gotten so far. CNET users are giving it horrible reviews when compared to the other Smart Phones. Played with one at Circuit City and it moves like my Blackberry but isn't enough to convince me to leave my Push E-Mail. With the Q I guess you have to have an exchange server as there is yet to be a 3rd party service to compete with RIM.
I guess if you want a trendy smart phone then go with one. |

I'm trying to figure out what I'd lose/gain by choosing the Q over the Treo or vice versa. The Q doesn't have as robust a version of Win Mobile. But it will do more than my Blackberry will. |
