Did anyone use EMO corp for payments? They're in receivership
EMO had a unique payment system: printable money orders. You could email a client (or affiliate) a printable file which could then be deposited at a US bank.
If you've never heard of EMO you may have heard of one of their large members: 12dailypro Looks like EMO went the same way as Stormpay: they did not have 100% of members funds available as cash. Gee... running an online payment service seems to be a great way to pep up your lifestyle since it's unlikely that all your members will ever withdraw their accounts to empty, at the same time. Just skim 10% and you're laughing. :disgust http://emoweb01.emocorp.com/resource...eivership.html |
Oh yeah, they were also unlicensed.

I had heard of them, now glad I never used them
|
I'd never use anything with EMO in the company name

All water under the dam now though. And yes, running a payment processor is a great way to get rich quick. |

I've never heard a better description of it than that ROFL I'm glad my generation went for the 'grunge' look instead of this pansy ass crap. |
