OK, now that I have your attention... :1orglaugh :)

How many of you - in the last year - have actually gone to a city/town/county council meeting or similar venue instead of -or- in addition to just bitching on GFY? Simply put: How many of you actually do something that stands a chance at making a difference?

I only bitch here...too much trouble trying to change things...best to just vent by complaining here, and the only meetings I go to are AA meetings...

Ah well, at least you all know where city hall is...

I do lots of campainging around election times.

Most of the kids you see on here couldn't tell you the difference between the issues of the two different political parties.

I remember all the threads blaming the republicans for the eniment domain decision on the supreme court.

They never realized that democrats actually stand for the government owning your land and raising your taxes to spend you money as they see fit. They bitch about big brother, but none of the GFY democrats realized that the democratic party is the party of big government.

I'm not suprised, when is the last time you heard a democrat get on a gangster rap show and explain the issues they stand for. Never.

You dont have to go to a meeting to know that raising taxes on the rich people in our country would be charging their parents boss more money and ulitmatly cutting into their XBOX game allowance, but the democrats failed to explain the negative effects of their economic philophy. They just get more uneducated votes by pretending to be robin hood.

I actually give money and are a member of a few political orgs and Im active in fighting the stigma of mental illness and to get it parity. Which the scumbag right wing vote down.
