Someone recommend a decent registar. Need to transfer 200 domains.

I use to be on registerfly, when you call you have to ask for advanced support right away.

Now when i call moniker, someone picks up on the second ring, no hold system.. i love it

They are still sending me notices for websites I transfered from them months ago...

Renewing a domain with RegisterFly is a fucking bitch. Jesus, could they make it any harder to take my money. Its been a week since I paid and they're still pending transfer (go figure why a renewal is treated the same as a transfer). They better renew these domains before they expire!

Everyone should know that the ONE good experience you may have had with a registrar like RegisterFly is not worth the shitload of bad service you'll get from them in the near future.

I chose RegisterFly 4 years ago for a domain, transferred it as soon as possible. It was a one-man operation back then because I kept talking to the same clueless schmuck on a daily basis. Haven't looked back since.

From my experience, the best registrars are the ones that you never have to contact for technical support. If you need technical support from a registrar (and this is not your mistake), they fucked up somewhere.

Get in touch with Monte from moniker.com, he should be able to give you a good price if you transfer the domains in bulk. Their interface, support and security is outstanding.

My bad hosting experiences can be summed up in one word -
registerfly f**k THEM they hijacked domains of mine and now they are listed for sale by buydomains.com (watch the popups)

For me a brief summary of problems LAST MONTH:

- double charges when renewing domains and the domains did not get renewed anyway
- closing support tickets
- not dealing with support tickets
- calling them is meaningless, if you reach them they do not do anything anyway
- impossible to remove whois protection
- impossible to remove locking
- impossible to update contact info
- renewing of domains failed, had to do it over and over again before success

- last but not least: 80 domains were put in redemption status although they were paid for perfectly on time. Most were even newly registered only 9 days before. No help from support. No explanation. One day I woke up and the domains were just unaccessible. This is like George Orwell 1984 nightmare. The domains are just out of business. I have done nothing wrong, have paid for all domains and still get no help. Now this has been the situation since 9th of May! This is pure fucking stealing of the money I paid for the domains and also of course has distroyed the value of the domains.

Was it this way nazi-Germany started?

registerfly sucks big time. even though two weeks ago i said they got a bit better, all this stuff in this thread makes me say fuck registerfly. especially the double charges that is so terrible.
