Oilers are nearly toast...
With last night's defeat, the Edmonton Oilers move to within one final game of losing the Cup.
Doesn't look optimistic. :( |
I am just happy to see them playing competitively again and not getting blown out every night. They?re not bad for a number 8 seed though.
You have to give them credit being in the cup as a #8 seed. Plus if their goalie didn't get hurt, it maybe a different series. The games have been fun.
I can see them winning one more to push it to 6
Ugh I know....Although I must agree with everyone elses sentiments about them being 8th seed and making it to the cup. I would like to see them win at least one more.... I am flying to Raleigh tomorrow to watch game 5....I also have tickets for game 7 but at this rate it's not likely that I will need them.
I am going to think positive tho, I get to see the Oilers in action during the finals and if Carolina happens to win tomorrow night I'll be at the RBC and will celebrate just the same....Afterall I am a Leaf fan :/ GO OILS GO!!! |
I'm happy, I got Stall and Samsonov in a side draft (you pick one player only from each of the 16 playoff teams) and they did well last night ... now if they can repeat that next game, I may just win.
(The guy in first has Weight and Hemsky and is up 2 pts, if any cares :)) |
yes they are toast i don't think they will have a chance to win.
They've played some good, competitive hockey, but it's a sad state that it's coming to an end for them :helpme
was hoping they would win last night. i think they still have some bite left in them.
yeah they are fucking dead, really sad :(
